Small Update #6: Working on Steam Page and Prioritizing Demo!
Hello everyone! Welcome to Update 6 where I post bi-weekly updates on MC Ninja.
The focus on getting the demo out as soon as possible, with a good amount of content is being prioritized at the moment!
Also starting work on getting the Steam page up and running is the next big thing to get done. I've been procrastinating on that (sorry!) ^_^
The demo will be posted on the Steam page as well as the Itch page, so you've got some options to choose from.
Things are going well. Here's a summary of what's been happening:
Story (Dialogue for characters, context on the world): ~2% (not the focus at the moment)
World Building (test blocks, graphics): ~15% (+3%*)
Characters/Enemy Building (the player, enemies, bosses): ~34%
Coding (test cases, production code): ~35% (+5%*)
Overall (when the game is finished, this will be 100%): ~18% (+3%*)
* = from last update
These are rough estimates but I'm hoping they visualize the progress.
By next update, there should be a Steam page up.
I'll be posting these bi-weekly updates on the Steam page too, along with potentially smaller updates to fill in the time.
